Based in New Delhi, Mr. Kalha, FCA is a Managing Partner of Horizon Research, a subsidiary of Gabelli with offices in New Delhi. Mr. Kalha has 25 years’ experience in the investment management industry. He has participated in the sponsorship, formation, operations and merger execution of SPAC’s in both Italy (VALU:IM) and US (DFNSU:NYSE) and (PMVC:NYSE). He is the Executive VP of Finance of PMVC and of Teton Advisors, Inc. He was previously involved in manufacturing sector operations and distressed debt resolution and began his career In Arthur Andersen’s New Delhi office. Mr. Kalha serves on the board of LGL Group (NYSE Amex: LGL) where he is the Chair of the Audit, Nomination and Compensation committee. Mr. Kalha holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) Sloan School of Management, a B.A. Honors in Economics from SRCC (University of Delhi) and is a Chartered Accountant and a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
